The current generation of the Porsche 911 is powerful, efficient, and fun. But for some, the rear-engined sports car needs that extra bit of exclusivity and performance. The Switzerland-based Porsche specialists at Mansory have developed and designed a new tuning program with custom Porsche wheels, revised aerodynamics, a new exhaust, and exclusive interior to suit this need.

Mansory's new exterior body work for the Porsche 911 is even more aerodynamic than the stock design. All of the new components are made from composite material in order to save weight and maintain strength. The front features a dynamic mount and apron that reduces lift at the front axle and seamlessly meshes into the stock body work. Customers can order a new carbon fiber hood that gives the 911 an athletic appearance. The rear is finished with a new bumper that accommodates the new quad exhaust tailpipes and a large rear spoiler that increases downforce at the rear axle. Between each of the staggered wheels is a pair of aerodynamic side skirts that calm the air around the 911 at high speeds. 

Complementing the exterior aesthetic upgrades is a new set of custom Porsche wheels. The 8.5 x 20 front and 12 x 20 rear one-piece five double-spoke wheels offer greater strength, durability, and style over the stock rims. The front wheels are wrapped in 245/30 Michelin Pilot Sport tires while the rear wheels wear 325/25s for added grip. The new monoblock may improve handling, but for added measure Mansory has installed a new suspension upgrade that lowers the center of gravity of the 911 by 30 mm.

Mansory is also developing new engine upgrades to boost acceleration. A new exhaust system and sports air filters can be installed and will increase horsepower and lower acceleration times over the stock models. In addition, the new exhaust and sport air filters will give the flat-six engine of the 911 a more agressive exhaust note under hard acceleration.

Customers can also outfit the interior of their 911 with fine leather and upholstery. Soft leather can be fitted to the seats, dashboard, and center console in a number of different colors and stitching patterns for an exlclusive luxury feel. For a more driver-oriented experience, Mansory can install a sports steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and carbon fiber trim pieces.

The entire tuning program for the Porsche 911 Carrera can be purchased as a complete kit from Mansory. Pricing for the car has not been released, but expect it to reach into the six-figure range.
